Robert DiNoto

Robert DiNoto is a real estate investor, philanthropist, and community leader based in Huntington, NY. He is also a dedicated father, fisherman, and bow hunter. Robert stays active in his community by participating in various projects.

Robert DiNoto has been actively involved in real estate for the last twenty-three-plus years. Robert owns and operates a full-service development and property management company. His company specializes in land-use and up-zoning of vacant or underutilized real estate, converting them into class-A rental apartment properties or national retail tenant sites. 

As the owner of his own real estate company (the DiNoto Group), Robert DiNoto has many critical roles and responsibilities. He oversees the business development pipeline, which includes acquisitions, dispositions, entitlements, and construction. Together with his team, who collectively possess over a century of real estate expertise, Mr. DiNoto has led the acquisition and development efforts of more than 850 real estate assets, totaling over 12.5 million square feet.

Robert DiNoto founded the DiNoto Group in 2000, and he still exists as owner and CEO to this day. However, there are other projects in which Robert is actively involved. In January 2014, Robert founded Questus Capital Management, a commercial real estate fund. Robert leverages his deep knowledge of acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and asset management. With a keen strategic vision, Mr. DiNoto navigates the complexities of real estate investment, aiming to maximize returns and create value for investors. His leadership and hands-on approach ensure the successful execution of fund objectives, driving growth and stability across diverse real estate portfolios.

Robert DiNoto has spearheaded notable real estate projects, including Questus S Tyson, LLC in Floral Park Village. This endeavor involved acquiring a catering hall and two adjacent vacant lots. Under his leadership, a new 27-unit, four-story rental apartment building was developed and sold for $12.1 million in 2022. Additionally, he oversaw the renovation of a two-story restaurant into a mixed-use property, fetching $4.6 million upon sale. With a total capital outlay of approximately $9 million, these ventures achieved an exit valuation close to $17 million, showcasing Mr. DiNoto’s adeptness in real estate investment and development.

An enthusiastic outdoorsman, DiNoto delights in fishing and boating, particularly enjoying offshore fishing trips. Additionally, he shares his karate and martial arts expertise through DiNoto Karate, where he provides complimentary group and individual training sessions. His ambition is to establish his studio in the future.
